EKOTEK’s organization is based on highly skilled multidisciplinary teams specialized in the environmental sector, which enables the development of far-reaching projects in all environmental areas. With the aim of incorporating the most innovative technologies in the environmental field and promoting sustainable development, EKOTEK has a R&D department that works in the development of numerous research and development projects in collaboration with other entities, both at national and international level, introducing the best technologies and methodologies in all our projects.

EKOTEK has wide experience in leading R&D projects at regional, national and international level, and is actively involved, both as coordinator and partner in the realization of integrated projects in diverse R&D programs, such as GAITEK and INNOTEK (Department of Industry of the Basque Government), EUREKA and IBEROEKA (CDTI), LIFE-ENVIRONMENT (European Commission), 7th FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME (European Commission), ASIA PRO ECO (European Commission), SWITCH ASIA (European Commission), etc.
